The Role
With a wealth of knowledge and experience, Almac Pharma Services manufacture and pack commercial drug products and Investigational Medicinal Products (IMPs) for a wide range of global pharmaceutical companies. The expert services we provide supports the provision of medicines and treatments to patients around the world.
We’re currently seeking a Qualified Person to join our growing Team based in our Charnwood Campus, Loughborough.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing the duties as directed in Annex 16 of the EU Guide to GMP, the applicable Code of Conduct and UK / EU legislation. The QP will support the release of solid oral dosage forms and non-sterile liquids including:
Investigational medicinal products which have been manufactured and/or packaged in line with the Product Specification File and/or IMPD
Commercial products which have been manufactured and/or packaged in line with the requirements of the Marketing Authorisation or Product Licence.
The post holder will be a key part of the site Quality Management team and will work closely with the other Qualified Persons at the other Almac UK and EU sites.
What We Are Looking For
Eligible to act as a Qualified Person under Permanent Provisions of Directive 2001/83/EC
Previous significant experience working within an established Quality System within the Pharmaceutical Industry
Previous experience working in Quality roles in companies involved in the manufacture or packaging of solid oral dosage forms or non-sterile liquids for clinical or commercial supply.
Proven knowledge of the legal requirements, rules, and guidance covering the manufacture of pharmaceutical products in Europe
