Join our dynamic team in Braine L'Alleud as a Research Associate, specializing in mass spectrometry analysis! In this exciting role, you will have the opportunity to develop, validate, and transfer pioneering analytical methods using GC-MS and LC-MS/MS techniques. Your technical expertise will be essential in conducting investigations and implementing an effective impurities strategy in line with ICH Q3 guidelines. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to groundbreaking research and make a real impact in the pharmaceutical industry.
What you'll do :
Develop, evaluate and/or validate new analytical methods to analyze raw materials and finished products in the frame of R&D projects, targeted LCMS analysis will mainly be the technique used but other techniques such as GC-MS, … are in scope.
Provide support, as per need, for laboratory testing as part of R&D projects for sustaining product on the market or new product development,
Provide support for initiatives in technological development, competitive product analysis, market and regulatory affairs questions, manufacturing plant related investigation, etc.
Document and review results in electronic laboratory notebooks according to established GDP procedures.
Create and update equipment and analytical procedures, participate in the ordering of raw materials, analytical material or equipment pieces.
Interpret experimental data and present conclusions to supervisor.
Write comprehensive protocols and reports in English.
Adhere to the quality system requirements and ensure GMP and GDP standards; also adhere to general and specific environmental, health and safety guidelines.
Maintain laboratory reagents, materials and equipment as directed, including acquiring such items, maintaining materials and equipment in good operating order.
Laboratory management (handling samples, analyses, reports, and customer contact)
If needed, participate / support / organize the productions of feasibility and development batches of different formulations.
What you'll bring :
Must have expertise and solid understanding in areas associated with mass spectroscopy and chromatography (gas and/or liquid)
Communication skills to establish relationships across functional and geographical boundaries and present technical results/plans to technical and non-technical teams.
Personal responsibility and independent ownership of analysis and results.
A good understanding of ICH guidelines and cGxP practice
Must be able to challenge the status quo and demonstrate a pro-active attitude
Ability to adapt to changes and to work in a team environment.
Ability to identify risks, issues and opportunities and communicate to supervisor
Fluent spoken, read and written English is a must.
