Job Purpose

Software Installation Engineers are responsible for the installation and configuration of Virtual Recall software solutions ensuring that each deployment meets the highest standards of quality and consistency. The role is entirely remote, with little to no direct interaction with veterinary practice staff required.

Core Responsibilities of Support Engineer

- Remotely install and configure the Virtual Recall software on a variety of networks and hardware.

- Ensure all installations are completed accurately and efficiently.

- Maintain detailed records of installations and configurations.

- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the installation process.

- Collaborate with other team members to improve installation processes and procedures.

- Run regular QA reports to ensure that practices are receiving their full service offering and maintaining high-quality standards.

Training & Qualifications

- High level of proficiency with Windows and the Microsoft suite.

- Fluency in written and spoken English.

Experience for Installation Engineer role

- Proven experience in software installation and configuration

- Strong technical skills and familiarity with various software applications

- Enjoy problem solving and have an ability to adapt to the ever-changing environment of a growing dynamic company.

- Self-sufficient, organised and able to manage a number and variety of tasks and responsibilities simultaneously.

- Previous experience of working within the animal/health veterinary industry would be beneficial.

Travel Requirement

- All installations and training are carried out remotely so travel is not required.

- You would be welcome to join the Support Team in the Guildford offices up to once per month.
