Your mission
As a Supply Chain Planning Intern, you will focus on manufacturing scheduling, supply chain planning, and materials management. You will play a crucial role in coordinating with maintaining optimal inventory levels, and supporting the smooth running of Manufacturing & QC operations without any disruptions.
This internship will provide you with valuable hands-on experience and an opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Job Description
Major Activities
- Manufacturing Scheduling:
- Collaborate to develop and maintain the Manufacturing & QC schedule.
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure the availability of resources, such as raw materials and equipment to meet production requirements.
- Monitor production progress and make adjustments to the schedule as necessary to optimize efficiency.
- Supporting Continuous Improvement activities throughout Manufacturing & QC, and driving operational standards across both areas.
- Materials Management:
- Conduct regular inventory analysis and coordinate with Supply Chain Buyers to review Bill of Material and Safety Stock Levels.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement measures for inventory optimization.
- Assist in tracking and reporting key performance indicators (KPIs) related to materials management.
- Broad experience gained in Gene Therapy Supply Chain and Manufacturing Operations.
- Communicate effectively with all stakeholders in a supportive manner.
- Documents actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records; maintaining databases.
- Provide support and business improvements for written procedures, SOPs etc.
- Accountable for own Continuous Professional Development to maintain up-to-date knowledge of new technical developments relevant to own area of expertise. Proactively share knowledge with all others who may benefit from it.
- Support batch release & new material activities across both sites.
