Position Overview:
The Senior Labeling Programme Manager (New Artwork Software) will be responsible for implementation of a new artwork software in Convatec across all Convatec Business Units, Manufacturing sites and third-party manufacturing.
The role will be responsible for a large and complex project involving many sites, stakeholders, systems and teams. The project will have a large business impact.
The role is responsible for implementing one system across several sites.
The core element of this position is to map, plan and implement a new artwork software.
The role will be responsible from Business Case development, during implementation and ensuring proper process, use and training.
The role will work closely with our SAP team and Masterdata team in getting the solution implemented right
The role will work closely with stakeholders and vendors to ensure the implementation runs as planned.
The role will be part of the labeling team, who are responsible for labeling updates end-to-end on both base business products, and new product introduction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overall responsible for business case to implementation of new artwork software covering multiple business units and production sites
- Create project plan and deliver accordingly with a focus on how to set up the best future way of creating artwork
- Escalating issues or if timelines cannot be met
- Large stakeholder work – working closely with project team, stakeholders, approvers and vendors
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills to present information and communicate effectively at all levels within the company as well as cross functionally with departments such as Regulatory, Quality, Purchasing, Operations and Marketing. Ability to present to management and to extended teams.
- Manages multiple concurrent deadlines. Employs project management skills to ensure multiple programs impacting labeling are progressing and meeting expected milestones.
- Ability to work in a team environment including multi-site cross-functional team members across geographies and time zones.
- Ability to make decisions when needed as well as preparing recommendations to senior management on decisions and opportunities.
- Ensuring that the new ways of working adhere to all relevant industry and internal guidelines
- Identifying problems and solutions that arise with projects and lead and discusses accordingly.
- Demonstrating full compliance with ConvaTec’ s Quality Management System (QMS), policies, and procedures.
- To ensure compliance with the legislative and internal requirements of the EHS and to participate in the fulfillment of the company's targets in the EHS area
Specific Responsibilities:
- Finalize business case and ensure approval from management and stakeholders
- Data gathering and mapping of a new solution
- Close contact with vendors
- Creation of implementation plan to ensure proper implementation and involvement of the right stakeholders
- Set up team to ensure resources for implementation
- Develop future standard templates for labeling across all packaging layers
- Develop new ways of working together with the labeling team, stakeholders, approvers and management
- Create SOPs to support the new ways of working
- Ensure training of all relevant team members and stakeholders
- Close collaboration with labeling, IT, Regulatory Affairs and marketing
- Responsible for defining and delivering on KPIs
- Present project status to Steer Cos and Management
- Responsible for cost in the projects and communicate budget status

Skills & Experience:
- Experience as Programme or Project Manager for a larger implementation project
- Great experience as a project manager
- Experience with leading a larger project team across sites and cultures
- Experience with implementing new software – preferable artwork software
- Experience with ERP system (like SAP) and supply chain with be preferable
- Experience from working withing the artwork labeling area
- Experience from working in the medical device industry or similar regulated industry
- Experience from working with design control
- Highly structured, ability to progress tasks in parallel, and proven problem-solving skills.
- The ability to communicate effectively in Technical English (verbal and written) is essential.
- Highly computer literate i.e. Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint).
- Experience from working in an environment with multiple cultures and businesses
Qualifications/Education:
- Degree in science, technical, engineering, supply chain or similar
- Educated Project Manager
- Knowledge and experience with labeling software or similar
- Experience with project management tools
Dimensions:
Team
This position will not have direct reports or line management responsibilities.
Line management will be within the department reporting to the Director – Manufacturing Packaging Design Engineering

The nature of this role will require the individual to deal with a wide range of contacts at different levels of seniority within the organization. In addition, the individual will deal with contacts external to the vendors, organization where these may be external companies.
