As Process Technician for 2nd shift you be responsible to perform repairs and maintenance of mechanical and robotic equipment and machines. Coordination of repairs to align with production timelines, considering the availability of machines, materials, and workforce. An advanced level of troubleshooting is required

Responsibilities:
- Acts as the primary source of contact for the second and third shift team; oversee day-to-day service of production equipment
- Plan, coordinate, and direct the maintenance and repair activities of our productive lines and equipment. Ensure that equipment is available and operational to meet production demands.
- Provide direct support to technicians in the plant to promptly resolve breakdowns and technical issues to minimize downtime.
- Demonstrate a strong knowledge in hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, and mechanical repairs within the facility to effectively support and guide the maintenance team.
- Maintain training and quality requirements set forth by the business.
- Coordinate maintenance and repair work with vendors.
- Develop daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance schedules and allocate resources effectively to maximize line output
- Coordinate and interact with other departments to address and solve problems, setting plans to achieve company and plant goals.
- Adheres to company safety and quality guidelines and ensures direct reports are following those guidelines.
- Escalation of maintenance issues and potential events to the Senior Manager of maintenance and other related key members.
- Promote a collaborative and customer service-oriented team environment
Requirements:
- Technical school, bachelor’s degree or other related training in related field. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a regulated field.
- Possible weekend and off-shift work required.
- Experience in biotech manufacturing, a GMP facility and/or ISO 13485 environment, preferred but not required.
- Working knowledge and experience with computerize maintenance management systems (CMMS)
- Must be able and willing to work in manufacturing plant environment
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel for extended periods. Candidates will be required to lift 30 pounds.
- Experience reading mechanical, electrical, and P&IDs.
- Working knowledge and experience with MS Suite.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, and move around the manufacturing plant and cleanroom environment for extended periods.
- Capable of lifting and carrying heavy objects, tools, and equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable reaching overhead and climbing ladders or steps to access equipment or perform maintenance tasks.
- Regularly required to bend, stoop, crouch, or kneel to access hard-to-reach areas during inspections or repairs.
- Ability to work in a cleanroom environment with controlled air quality and follow gowning and hygiene protocols, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) such as masks, gloves, and goggles.
- Ability to handle physically demanding tasks and work long hours, including shifts, weekends, or emergencies as needed.
- Ability to work in temperature-controlled cleanrooms and occasionally in non-controlled environments within the facility.
- Capacity to respond quickly and effectively to equipment malfunctions or plant emergencies.

Our Compensation and Benefits
At Ferring, base salary is one part of our competitive total compensation and benefits package and is determined using a salary range. The base salary range for this role is $38,013.00 to $88,400.00 which is the reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount paid may differ based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, education and primary work location. If hired to work 2nd in this role, the pay differential will be 10%. Additional compensation for this role will be provided based on competitive annual incentive compensation targets in the form of an annual bonus - payouts are based on individual and company performance. [For sales employees] Additional compensation for this role will be provided based on competitive annual incentive compensation targets in the form of sales commissions - payouts are based on individual and geography/company performance.
