As a Lab Technician, you will test batches of liquid lithographic products for the semiconductor industry.
This position works a 4-on, 4-off rotating shift schedule.
Your key responsibilities will be/what you’ll do:
Analysis of production and raw material samples for conformance with specifications using standard operating or non-routine procedures.
Make up and standardize chemical solutions used in laboratory, concentrations or formulations required in special tests.
Calibration and daily qualification of laboratory equipment.
Test new methods, equipment or procedures; make recommendations based on observations, analyses, and evaluation of test data.
Contribute to brainstorming sessions to improve work processes and procedures.
Communicate results effectively to stakeholders and other interested parties.
Exhibit sound EH&S practices. Proper use of PPE, understand process safety concerns in your laboratory area, and report EH&S incidents.
Fulfill all requirements of group, site, and company safety, ethics, and quality programs.
*Relocation is not available for this role.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Requirements:
High School diploma or GED
1 – 2 years lab experience, preferred
Willing and able to work overtime or shift hours to cover absences, sometimes on short notice
Willing and able to wear appropriate and designated PPE (personal protective equipment) within certain areas of the plant (e.g., hard-hat, goggles, gloves, respirator, cleanroom garment).
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and manage multiple assignments
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
Good observational and record keeping skills with attention to detail, including use of computer-based spreadsheets
