Summary of Objective: Planning of all mechanical maintenance work such as installation, set-ups, repairs, and modifications to equipment. Communicate with all PCI departments involved in the planning of production processes. Create, update, and maintain all preventative maintenance procedures. Create, update, and maintain change-over jackets. Assist Maintenance Managers and Supervisors with scheduling maintenance activities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The essential duties and responsibilities include the following but other duties may be assigned. Create, update, and distribute changeover documentation. Create, update, and distribute preventative maintenance documents. Manage a daily and monthly maintenance schedule for maintenance changeovers, repairs, and production support. Work with the Scheduling Department to ensure the Production Schedule is accurate. Work to reduce changeovers whenever possible. Attend Tier II Daily Directional Setting meetings and provide follow-up and feedback as needed. Analyze equipment failures to improve the overall reliability of the equipment, while maintaining productivity. Update setup documentation to ensure all settings are current and accurate. Work with The Business Units and Scheduling to accurately maintain a timeline for any launches or validations of products. Manage and prioritize the backlog of all maintenance work. Communicate with The Business Units for maintenance setup materials and other component sample requests. Work with the tool crib and engineering to ensure accuracy and tool modifications. Actively participate in value stream activities. Manage and complete change control. Adhere to all PCI cGMP, and GCP policies, procedures, rules, and regulations. This position may require overtime and/or weekend work. Attendance at work is an essential function of this job. Other duties as assigned by manager/supervisor. Required: Bachelor's Degree in a related field and/or 1-5 years of related experience and/or training. College Level Mathematical Skills Intermediate Computer Skills: Ability to perform more complex computer tasks and knowledge of various computer programs. Full Professional Proficiency: Ability to speak, read, and write fluently and accurately on all levels pertinent to professional needs. High Reasoning: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where there is only limited standardization. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions that may be provided in various forms. Preferred: Ability to effectively present information to various people as the job requires. Ability to follow instructions and respond to management direction. Ability to identify and resolve problems promptly. Ability to work independently and/or as part of a team. For candidates in Illinois: This position's base salary hiring range is $69,920-$78,000 plus an annual performance bonus eligibility. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including but not limited to specific and relevant experience, education, credentials, geography, and subject matter expertise.
