The Data Services Manager is responsible for the disciplined execution and adoption of the data services framework working closely with data management professionals and stakeholders to ensure data management initiatives and sustaining processes are aligned with the strategic business objectives of the corporation.
Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible for managing a subfunction of data management responsible for thorough and insightful data analysis of GSCQ data projects with the ability to balance multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a dynamic team-based environment.
• Manage activities with the accountability for successful completion of all deliverables. Escalate risks, support in the development of mitigation strategies or alternative solutions to resolve issues, and ensure follow up of action items in collaboration with cross functional and/or matrix teams.
• Effective communication to ensure business alignment to solutions for outstanding data quality issues through collaboration with various data stakeholders. Collaborate with internal and external teams to actively track, measure, report, and develop data optimizations to achieve the identified objectives and drive actionable insights.
• Oversee the detailed documentation of analysis regarding data-related pain points and issues, and create supporting evidence that will facilitate ease, accuracy and clarity in problem-solving.
• Oversees the creation of data management capability documents such as but not limited to Process Map, System Lineage, Data Lineage, Critical Data Elements list and Data Capture as part of an ODG Data Analysis Pack.
• Identifies continuous Improvement of existing tracking, monitoring, and reporting mechanisms to efficiently manage issues and identify data governance business gaps and develop remediation plans based on approved rules and processes.
• Oversee execution of data quality cleanup efforts with the ability to leverage or propose new tools or capabilities.
• Recommend and implement continuous data process improvements and/or transformations to enhance existing data-related processes.

Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in in a technical field required (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology)of previous related experience Required
Master's Degree or equivalent in in related fieldExperience in data management and with DQ tools with business insights Preferred
Experience with MDM tools and Data Catalogue
Additional Skills:
• Demonstrated ability to manage assigned team as people manager and provide coaching and feedback, including responsibility for all employee actions including hire/fire authority and partnering with HR on all aspects of employee relations.
• Experience with core data management competencies (e.g., DQ, MDM, Governance, Analytics, Issue Management).
• Product Data & Global Supply Chain knowledge. Understand the Global Supply Chain and Quality’s end-to-end business processes and the interconnection to data, stakeholders, and other data consumers.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related tools and systems; Demonstrated general knowledge over multiple data management tools and platforms (Informatica IDQ & MDM, Collibra, Vizio, Alteryx, PowerBI,) for simplifying and automating key activities.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills including high discretion/judgment in decision making.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives.
• Strict attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to frequently interacts with customers, and/or functional peer group managers, normally involving matters between cross-functional teams and the company; often leads a cooperative effort among members of a project team. Ability to develop peer, cross functional and cross business relationships to maximize best practice sharing and team effectiveness.

For Illinois (IL), the base pay range for this position is $118,000 to $167,000 (highly experienced).
