Job Description
Renishaw are currently recruiting experienced candidates with mechanical / electrical build & test skills. In the roll the person will be expected to assemble sub-assemblies, complete machine builds, fault find, test, commission, repair and sign off finished products. There will also be a requirement to work in conjunction with the production engineering and product design teams developing processes and investigating route cause failures when faults arise.
Responsibilities
- Build and test sub-assemblies and machinery in conjunction with designated Work Instructions
- Evaluate sub-assemblies and completed machine performance against design parameters
- Set up and adjust completed machines to achieve design parameters
- Sign off completed machines as fit for purpose and regulatory compliant
- Work hands on with Renishaw processes
- Support the production engineering and product design teams in process and product development
- Compile technical reports
- Work as part of a wider team
Key requirements
- Experience of complex mechanical/electrical products
- Good decision-making skills
- IT skills (MS Office)
