Position Summary
Level 8 degree in a technical discipline (Computer Science, Engineering) with up to 3+ years’ experience or 5+ years equivalent experience in a QA role. The QA will have technical experience across all aspects of the IT software development life cycle with skill-sets in the following:
- Automated Testing
- Good SQL knowledge
- Some experience of C# or other OO languages
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
The QA will assist other members of the QA team in the preparations of automation tests and manual user acceptance tests, debugging and defining corrective actions of the Software Services Group (SSG) software to ensure that products and systems comply with customer requirements.

Experience and Skills Required
Education:
- Level 8 Degree or equivalent experience in a technical discipline (computer science or engineering)
- 3-5 years in a QA role in a technological environment
Responsibilities:
- Liaise with business analysis, support and development teams to identify test requirements
- Plan and implement manual and automated tests across the product’s APIs / web applications
- Deliver product to the highest standard, satisfying functional and non-functional requirements
- Requirements analysis for manual and automated testing
- Develop test documentation for manual and automation testing
- Follow QA standard operating procedures and work instructions to meet SSG ISO QMS objectives
Experience:
- Proven work experience in software development
- Proven work experience in software quality assurance
- Familiarity of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
- Familiarity of writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Hands-on experience with Playwright
Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting
- Experience working in a Scrum or Agile development team
- Experience of C# and TypeScript (any other OO languages as a plus)
- Hands-on experience with Azure Infrastructure & Azure DevOps
