Almac Group is currently seeking a
Destruction Operator Grade 1 for our
Souderton, Pa location. The
Destruction Operator is responsible for carrying out all material handling activities required within the warehouse to aid in Almac’s destruction program. They will be responsible for the physical movement and systematic transactions of material within the Almac Clinical Services – Souderton NAHQ warehouse and ensure that levels of customer service and cGMP compliance are maintained to the highest possible standards.
Mon-Fri 11pm-7am
15% shift differential
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Perform Destruction Pre-Work
- Gather Weight Estimates Based on Sample Quantities
- Estimate Pallet Totals by Assessing Requested Quantities
Pick Lots Approved for Destruction
- Physically Retrieve Authorized Materials
- Ensure Verification of Each Container Pulled
Prepare Lots to Be Destroyed
- Assist Quality Control with Secondary Verification Check
- Restack Pallets as Necessary for Optimal Space Usage
- Transact Each Container in COSMOS During Preparation
- Wrap and Label Each Pallet of Destruction Material
- Obtain Weights for Each Prepared Pallet Being Destroyed
Stage Destruction Pick-Ups
- Utilize Forklift to Maintain the Destruction Pending Area by Lowering Pallets for Upcoming Shipments and Raising Pallets for Future Destruction
- Utilize Pallet Jack to Load Trucks
Qualifications:
Required Experience / Education:
- High School diploma (or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year work experience
Preferred Experience:
- Pharmaceutical Experience
- Warehouse Experience
- Data Entry Experience
- Forklift Experience
Preferred Knowledge:
- Working in a CGMP environment
