Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Drives a culture of "Do It Safe, Do It Right the First Time" with their actions and their words on a daily basis
Oversee and Direct Mechanical Engineers globally to;
Create equipment designs meet or exceed the requirements for;
Builds and maintains a team that is qualified, competent and trained to support the semiconductor/performance materials industry.
Global Discipline Lead and Design Authority for Mechanical Engineering including direct management of employees in US, Korea and Taiwan with functional management of Mechanical Engineering activities in Singapore and Japan. Adaptability to manage other geographies as the Semiconductor industry grows including Europe, China etc..
Partner with Project Delivery organization to ensure that the integrated mechanical drawings control system is maintained, with proper revision control triggered by Management of Change process.
Create universal equipment design systems where applicable.
Ensure all equipment meets business requirements and ALAM standards.
Manages evaluation and adoption of Industry and Air Liquide Mechanical Design Standards. Manages creation and development of necessary ALAM Mechanical Design.
Responsible for delivering code compliant mechanical equipment and systems for both green field and brown field projects.
Create a broad contact network within greater Air Liquide to ensure that all best available technology and practices are made available internally and to all customers.
Availability for up to 20% travel including international travel to company sites, vendors and on occasion, customers.

Are you a MATCH?
Required -
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering,or equivalent.
10+ years of relevant experience including multi-country experience.
3+ years management experience
Deep and general knowledge as a mechanical engineering generalist.
Candidate should have knowledge of applicable codes and standards.
Excellent communication skills, in English, both written and verbal from field mechanics to ALAM Executives and outside parties.
Strong global organizational and planning skills with the ability to multi-task
Team player with leadership abilities.
