Job Description
Job Summary
We are looking for an individual to oversee day-to-day production operations, including guiding and coaching employees, ensuring equipment safety and maintenance, and executing batch manufacturing and packaging activities. Responsibilities also include documentation review, maintaining product quality, coordinating training, conducting initial incident investigations, and managing process orders.

- To bring about Improvement in machine availability, time bound repair of instruments (along with the relevant records).
- To ensure the asset owners are aware of the maintainability issues of their assets.
- Responsible for priority assessment and decision making as it relates to troubleshooting, diagnostics, assembly, repair, and a proactive maintenance of systems and instruments in a cost effective manner.
- To ensure that all the drawings and technical specifications of the equipment, instrument and system in his area are updated.
- To reuse and recycle instruments, etc. where ever possible.
- To attend and resolve all instrumentation issues or problems on war foot basis.
- Investigating calibration failures and failure between Preventive maintenance and taking the corrective action and co-ordination with team.
- Ensure that documentation of calibration activities of instrument are in place.
- To co-ordinate with the production team in identifying and execution of automation projects as per site objectives.
- To maintain records/documents as per SOPs.
- To introduce initiatives to reduce cost.
- Trouble shooting with an objective of finding permanent solution.
- To ensure cGMP implementation in his area as per the QMS.
- Ensure the good housekeeping as per site objectives.
- To meet SHE targets and ensure safety in his area, and to follow the work permit system.
- To ensure timely documentation as per the SOP.
- To ensure correct entries in respective log books.
- To be involved in pre-audits (relevant to ESD).
- To ensure and implement GDP as per the company’s quality policy.
- To ensure that the department meets its budget targets.
- To ensure the facility upkeep as per site objectives at all times.
- Responsible to Perform Preventive maintenance.
- Responsible to perform equipment/Instrument / Computer system qualification.
- Responsible for the Preventive maintenance of PLC & DCS systems.
- Trouble shoot DCS issues with respect to field instruments ie., end to end verification of field wiring up to SCADA system and resolve the issue.
Qualifications
Educational qualification
A Diploma/B.Sc.
Minimum Work Experience
3 to 10 years of experience
Skills & attributes Technical Skills
- Good Knowledge on field instrumentation and trouble shooting
- Good knowledge on process automation, PLC, DCS, HMI systems
- Instrument calibrations
- Equipment/Instrument qualifications
- Commissioning experience
